Koa and I had a chat and we decided the best way to go about the specification of the central website would be to develop this dynamic site on Weebly. This means there is a sample working website up for you and your group to experience. You can provide feedback and ideas to me via the contact form on the relevant tab above. This process allows the site to develop with input from everyone in a very visual way.
My proposal is to spend 10 hours over the next month or so to develop the first phase of the central web site.
This will provide a central website that is functioning well, can have links attached, and meets the basic needs as a central site.
A decision can then be made on how to proceed with the next phase.
Phase two could potentially include…
· assisting the different branches to set up their own website and setting up the links to those sites (or facebook)
· adding content such as your studies and findings, a documentary about the funds and other information (Nelson has that underway - we are awaiting funding to have it completed)
· a blog - or recent news information etc
· a story about Gwenyth and her vision and her manual.....
Please note the photo is a stock Weebly photo - it would be great if you could email any pics of wonderful women (borrowers / angels / members) that you have that I could put up a more meaningful photo.
I am investigating the process to have the map of NZ dynamic, so you can click on your area and get linked through to that fund's website, facebook or other internet presence....
Also I have used the domain name womensloanfund.weebly.com temporarily until I have the funds to purchase the domain name womensloanfund.org.nz.
Let me know what you think
Best wishes
Alison
